I leave comments in my projects to discuss certain topics and also sometimes use the comment function for documenting specs. It would be good if comments could be visually distinguishable (discussion vs. specs comments), so that devs can see at first sight which ones are important for them.

Voting for this, but with further suggestion that there should be completely separate annotating functionality.
Comments could use visual label tags that every team could use in whatever way suits their process.
