I want to reference a screen from one project in another project for flow purposes. But I don’t want it to be editable and I want it to stay updated if that screen has any changes. I also want it to be clear that it’s a “screen link” and just in that project for flow purposes.

Currently the designer has to manually copy and paste a screen from one project to another, it’s not clear that it’s just a reference screen from another project and it will eventually be out dated if/when that screen gets design updates.

Screen Links will allow for better organization but most importantly a clear source of truth.

Hey Karah, thanks for the feedback! We’ll pass this along to our team for consideration. Be sure to also Vote up top, so we can start tracking interest from the community.

Seconded, amazed this doesn’t exist already and that it isn’t being more frequently requested (maybe because there’s just not common terminology around this kind of feature?), I came across this thread looking to see if this feature already existed in Figma. I have lots of different files that rely on the same screen in many places, at some points I have had to make whole screens components because it was easier than manually finding and updating every instance of that screen when I make design changes which is obviously not great.
