Hi! Here is another bug. 🪲 When exported to PDF, links like this

ru.wikipedia.org

Looks like it is being double-encoded? Anyway, this is a very simple-to-fix bug, yet incredibly annoying.

Please, fix it as soon as possible! 🙏

Hi, is there any fix or setting to make email formatting not clickable? Or do I still have to do it manually in all my screens?

it literally takes the developers 1 hour to enable a settings options to turn off hyperlinks, it is not complicated !!! it has been more than 1 year at this point its a joke…

@Ghouila_Mohamed_Ali when you paste an email address, does it still become clickable?
If it does, do you mind sharing a video of it?

There should be an option to use “Rich Text” or “Plain Text” in Figma (or a setting called “Use Rich Text” that you could leave on by default if you insist), so those of us that are having this issue can switch to plain text and not have text copied from the Internet paste with links inadvertently embedded in it.

I know Paste And Match Style is a workaround but I don’t always remember to paste that way. I should be able to set “Command + V” to work as expected.

You can paste text through Ctrl+Shift+V, text will be pasted without links

⚠️ Problem ⚠️ : Recently, I worked on the tasks of embedding different multiple links. The text is the same and duplicated into as much as the links. But I have to turn off underline after embedding link every single time.
âś… Solution âś… : It would be good if there is a preference to disable auto underlining text when embedding link.

Or you can simply remove the format without having to directly paste the url. Select the text, insert the url, and remove the built-in format worked just fine with me.
The way to do this is the same as when we do it on Gdocs or MS Word, except that in Figma, the feature icon to reach the same result is not explicitly visible.

Hello Figmas,

This is a feature request for Figma Sites regarding link styling. Currently, when setting an external web link on any text, Figma Sites automatically applies an underline to the string. While this makes it clear that the text is clickable, I often want to disable the underline for aesthetic or branding reasons.

Here’s what happens:

  1. I select or type text.

  2. I apply a URL link.

  3. Figma automatically underlines the text.

  4. I must then manually disable the underline via the text panel.

This manual step can be cumbersome—especially when working with sites containing many links. Ideally, I’d love a setting that lets me:

  • Disable automatic underlines across an entire project or site

  • Or, at least, turn off underlines by default for each link created

This would streamline the workflow and reduce repetitive styling work. It also allows teams to enforce consistent link styling without extra effort.

Thanks for considering this request! I believe adding this feature would meaningfully improve the design-to-site workflow.
