It would be amazing if users could record a prototype and have the option to export as a gif or video file, similar to Principle. This would be a fantastic tool for product designers creating assets for their portfolio.

Actually, i don’t think there is a big need for Figma to develop such tools
You can actually record your screen with dedicated softwares or with OS native features.
Or you can upload your files on Jitter
