It would be extremely helpful to have a “Paste In Place” feature like Illustrator does!

Hey @Calista,

The Paste here option lets you choose the exact placement for a pasted object. The object is placed in the location of your cursor on the canvas or in a frame.

  1. Select and copy an object using the keyboard shortcut:
  • Mac: ⌘ Command C
  • Windows: Control C
  1. Position your cursor where you want the top left of your copied object to be placed.
  2. Right-click and select Paste here.

Hi, The paste here is good but I have been a designer for a lot of years now and a paste in place would have been convenient. It would made the job easier.

If you guys can work on this, would be coool!!

Paste here is a terrible alternative to paste in place. Pls Figma, give the fans what they want!

I know it’s a year later, but on a Mac, the keyboard shortcut for Paste in Place is CMD+SHIFT+V.
