The Frame and Rectangle tools in Figma share similar properties, such as fill and stroke, akin to the SVG format. However, adding more strokes doesn’t seem to be particularly beneficial.


For instance, consider creating an input element have deault and focus states like this:

In CSS, the border and outline properties are used to achieve this effect. In contrast, Figma utilizes stroke and drop shadow effects to create a similar result.



It might be beneficial to separate the stroke in Frame into border and outline properties.
