Thanks for the post. If I understand correctly, you can remove the community icon as a following step if you see it next to the home one.

Right-click on the community icon > Close Tab (attached screenshot). It should work both for a desk app and a browser app.

Am I understanding the issue you are describing correctly? Please let me know if I’m missing any additional points. I want to make sure I am fully addressing your questions.
