The Interaction details modal is not very tall, making that extra scroll mandatory to set up custom bezier EACH time we create a Smart Animate animation which is probably 100000x a day . It would be a time-saver to just make that modal higher.

We use very large screen in our office and this window could be at least 3 times higher and still have space under it 😅.

Thanks for the feedback! We’ll pass this onto our team for consideration. Don’t forget to also Vote up top, so we can gauge interest from the community.

Thanks for your quick answer! I flagged and posted this many times across the past years within the Figma feedback window and in the forum but never really got a reaction… It seems to be a very little and simple thing to adjust!

Please make all modal windows resizable, especially the interactions one. When dealing with a lot of variables and conditions, the small window is extremely annoying.

This should be a standard practice for all modal windows. Even Windows 3.1 had resizable windows; it’s 2024 now. 🤦‍♂️

Currently, almost all modals have a fixed size, which causes a lot of frustration when there are elements with long names inside them.

Example 1: My colors have long tokens, and in the current modal, these names do not appear in full, which makes it very difficult to choose the correct color.

Example 2: When I want to change a button’s icon and need to use the “Choose instance” modal, I can only view 4 icons per row in grid mode, which is very limited. I would like to be able to resize the modal and view 10, 20, or 50 icons per row if necessary.

The same problem occurs in all other modals.

Thanks @Hallan_Dionisio for adding your experience. I am so surprised this is not a bigger topic on the Figma forum. Many designers works on large displays and these modals are just … so teeny tiny… Don’t forget to vote on this idea on the top of the page to increase its visibility!
