Available Arabic plugins are not good enough!
The time couldn’t be more suitable now to support RTL languages

I really can not understand how figma does not support the RTL even though there is a large community who uses it!
if only thought about (Arabic, Persian, Urdu , Hebrew): we can get a market place for more than 420 + 220 + 100 + 110 = 830 Millions speakers around the world! That’s a target that all of the designers at those languages would like to reach!
Agreeeeee, I can’t imagine how great the app would be and will make design easily in Arabic for instance
The one feature that makes me want to choose a competitor is RTL support.

I once again stuck with adobe products. They put effort to support RTL, unlike Affinity and XARA also.
I’ll have to stay with adobe again and I HATE it.
Really?! It shouldn’t be that hard for Figma Team to add RTL Support!
Just a simple condition inside their source to reverse the typing.
It’s hard to run a plugin every time we type Arabic or Persian.
RTL support is a must, we struggle everyday launching plugins to workaround this issue.
I don’t understand why they’ don’t cooperating with those programs fixed this issue.
Please, many teams hate using Figma because of RTL poor support.

The plugins dont work for special characters or vowels in arabic due to the way plugins try to ‘reverse’…
As with others, I’m back to photoshop for some projects until support is implemented!

I fell in love with @figma but unfortunately there is no support for #Arabic language as I have many clients from the GCC countries such as UAE and Saudi Arabia .
i was very surprised what figma don’t have support of RTL languages. in a bad way. i love your product, but shame on you!

Someone in Figma must be a clown.
I just happened to try and work with RTL (Hebrew) and apparently I need a plug-in to do it. Is this company crazy? We’re in 2021 after landing on the moon, figuring out DNA and cloning sheep.
But, Figma decided that the one most basic things for any software, supporting the first languages in existence that are used by hundreds of millions (considering Arabic too), is not worth their time.
I sure hope someone in Figma reads this - because the issue needs to be escalated directly to the CEO. What a joke!
Arabic is the 5th most used language in the world, with over 420 million speakers. There are also over 100 million speakers of Urdu and over 9 million speakers of Hebrew. As designers and developers, we shouldn’t just leave hundreds of millions of users behind
I moved from Sketch & Adobe xd to Figma it’s a great design app, but
the difficulty in dealing with languages from right to left, such as the Arabic language, makes me rethink returning to these applications, where dealing with these languages without problems and saves a lot of time in the design process.
As someone moving into a i18n project (starting to aim for arabic) a RTL update would be very welcome at this stage
