Who wants the color function mode:

  • hue
  • saturation
  • brightness

Wouldn’t it be easier to have this function within Figma, rather than just switching applications?

Hey @Steve24 , thanks for sharing your feedback!

As a workaround, you can set the Saturation and Hue function at the top-level frame, by setting your color function in the right panel > go to the ‘Appearance’ section > click in ‘drop’ icon (Apply blend mode) > Select Hue or Saturation

Please see the screenshots below:

Hope that helps!

Thank you Celine. I really appreciate your effort. Is it possible to change this color mode like in the picture?:

A screenshot from Adobe Illustrator:

I like this version much more. Maybe I am not the only one that thinks that way…

Again: Thank you Celine for your efforts. Much love🫶

You are welcome! Thanks for the feedback, we don’t have the same format that the one you showed, we will pass it along to our team for consideration.

Please also note that in Figma, you can also select in the color picker the HSB ( H ue S aturation B rightness) that may be also helpful.

Thank you so much Celine and thank you for sharing this awesome video. I really didn’t knew that I can change the color like that by dragging the element to the horizontal left or right. Thanks. Much love🫶 And thank you for passing the format idea to the team for consideration, it really means a lot to me.
