Question

We are a PRO paid team, enrolled for the Figma UI 3 & AI on the first day of announcement but still in the waiting list while people with Free accounts are getting the update. Why?

We don’t know how else to contact the Figma support team besides starting a discussion and asking them what’s going on.

We wanted to contact Figma in an interactive way rather than through one-way email communication, which is why we are posting this on the community forum.

We are slowly losing our excitement for the new update as things have been moved, and we need to practice ASAP before new projects come our way.

Please help.

Thanks 🙏

Hey @YTL_Products_Team, thanks for reaching out and sorry for the trouble!

Early access to UI3 and Figma AI has reached its capacity, and the closed betas are underway for those with early access. UI3 and AI will begin rolling out to remaining users over the coming months. It’s expected that any given Figma user could receive access to the betas at any time, including users who joined the waitlist after it reached capacity, belong to paid plans, or are admins.

It’s not fair, we enrolled ourselves for Figma UI3 & AI on the first day. Meanwhile there are colleagues in our team who are using a Free account and didn’t even know about UI3 update or enrolled themselves in the early access but still they got the update.

We don’t know how else to express our disappointment from Figma team.

If the early access was given to random users then why even launch this option to join the waitlist.

We are the early adopters of Figma ever since it was launched and we quickly moved away from Sketch & Adobe XD. Not because Figma was Free but it was fastest design tool available.

Still being a loyal Figma Pro users, we are experiencing this.
It’s heart breaking!
