I’ve been getting vertical and horizontal artefact lines in presentation in the app(os 14) and in the browser(with hardware acceleration).
I’ve been using Figma for gour years and i’ve never encountered this problem.
Hi there,
Thanks for using Figma for a long time, and we really appreciate it. I’m trying to reproduce the issue, but it seems I can’t on my end.
Would you be able to share the prototype link or more details like layer information? Have you had any chance to share with your colleagues to see if this issue happens as well?
In general troubleshooting, it is possible some users can solve this issue with these tips, but sometimes these don’t work.

Hi Toku,
Thanks for your help. I’m currently trying to recreate the presentation without sensitive information. But I can’t seem the reproduce the issue.
To give a little more context, most of the slide consisted of images coming from the bottom of the frame (outside) to roughly the middle of the slide. Smart animated between slide with a 300ms custom curve.
I’ll try starting from scratch and if I encounter the same issue i’ll share the link to the presentation here.
Thanks,
Xavier.
I’d like to had that if I disable the hardware acceleration in Chrome I don’t see the artefact anymore. But I end up with a 5 frames/s animation so it doesn’t help all that much 🤷
Here’s the link to a test presentation that as the issue, at least on my side.
Figma – 17 Nov 23It doesn’t seem to be consistent. If I close the presentation and start it again the artefacts disappears. But they eventually come back.
If it helps here’s my macbook pro specs:
2 Ghz Quad-Core Intel Core I5
Intel Iris PLus Graphics 1536mb
16Gb 3733 MHz
Sonoma 14.0
Hi Xavier,
Thank you so much for sharing the link and the your laptop envioronment! I will get back to you once I get any updates about it.
Toku
