Unable to edit fonts :(

Style with variable was applied to the text. Hover and click this icon to detach it

Sweet Jesus - this thing only appears on hover, I wouldn’t figure this out in the life of me. First of all - thanks - that’s very helpful. That said - Figma’s UI is counterintuitive and, in fact, doesn’t make much sense 😦
Whilst on the subject - is there a way to make a style + access it? Thanks again, I really appreciate your help.
