I have a complex prototype where there are several actions that take place on click, but they take 2 seconds or longer to run. There are three variable getting incremented. There’s a hover state. There’s conditional logic on a text string. There’s various element getting turned on and off. However, it’s not more interactions than would normally happen in an application. If I cut out the adding or subtracting of the three variable and eliminate some of the conditional logic, it functions better, but is there something I am doing wrong or is there just a limit on the interactions. I looked at memory usage, cpu usage, and file size and they are all low. I am running this on 3 year old mac book pro.

Here are the interactions.

Hey @John_Nance, thanks for reaching out!

This definitely does look complex. Are you able to share a link to your file?

We can send this over to the team to investigate on whether or not it’s expected when using many variables/interactions.

Is there a way I can share directly to the team or with you?

You can reach out to the support team directly via this form: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Be sure to use your Figma account email, include the link to the file, and share it with support-share@figma.com, and the team will be able to take a closer look.
