I’m trying to import one of my backups, but the service isn’t working.
Any ideas on what might be causing the import issue?
Looks like all services are ok https://status.figma.com/ but maybe try again later
Also don’t use .fig files for backups, they are not a reliable backup solution.
I’ve been using local save for backups. I’ve just realized that it might not be a reliable method 🤔

As Gleb said, we’re not aware of any recent service disruptions.
If you are still running into issues:
- Does the issue happen in both: the browser (Chrome, Firefox etc) and desktop app version of Figma?
- If you have more than one browser on your laptop, can you confirm this happens via all of them?

If this still doesn’t help, I suggest you to reach out directly to the support team with a copy of your file, so they can try to replicate (by importing the Figma design file) to investigate further the issue: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
