Text suddenly defaulting to Grey not White

I’ve created many web designs in Figma recently but suddenly in this sheet any text I paste (from my typical Apple Text Edit) is appearing as grey, ditto with the once white bullets because when I create a new bullet by hitting return on the sentence above it’s also grey?

How do I set the default text to white?
