Text Settings Missing

I’ve looked to see if the Text is part of a layer or something, it’s not.

I just tried again after rebooting Figma and I selected the Text tool and wrote “yyy” but there is still no Font Setting? (yyy text not shown in this image)

Your screenshot shows all the properties of the text layer. In particular, the Typography section.
