Text in layers and artboard?

How do I get the same text I type in an Artboard to show in a layer in the Pages panel? I like to have things named and organized and it is very time consuming to type it in both places.

Eg: If I have a link on the Artboard named Add Workspace, I want Add Workspace to show in the Pages layer without having to type it in manually.
