Right Side Design panel has disappeared

It’s back now… I didn’t do anything. Maybe it just went out to grab a coffee?

Clarification, earlier I was trying "command " and “command .” to no avail… Maybe Figma was working on that component?

Command + \ will open and close those panels

now I am getting the same problem

If you’re running 1Password, the "command+" shortcut opens 1Password. You need to disable or change that default shortcut in 1Password in order for it to work in Figma.

I’ve been creating color styles all afternoon and the panel keeps disappearing. I’ve tried quitting Figma and even tried restarting my Mac and it continues to disappear. I’m NOT running 1Password. Thoughts?

Had the same issue! For me, I think it was an issue with the browser scaling when I switched monitors – basically the right panel fell off the screen b/c it was too zoomed in.

To fix: If you’re in Chrome, got o View → Actual Size (or hit Cmd + 0)

It fixed the proportions and I got my design panel back. Hope this helps.

I’ve tried all of these suggestions and it’s still disappearing. Refreshing the browser tab only fixes it temporarily, and it disappears the next few times I double-click an object. Is this something a patch would fix? or is this just Chrome-related? I’m using Chrome and no plugins. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance!

Hey there! You should be able to access your panels again by using the shortcut cmd \ as mentioned here: View layers and pages

If this doesn’t help, please try to force-quit and clear out your cache on your browser?

• Microsoft Edge: Delete your browser history to remove any offline changes from Figma: View and delete browser history in Microsoft Edge - Microsoft Support

Caution: This will delete any offline changes and prevent you from saving them to Figma. Once you have cleared your browsing history, you will not be able to retrieved any unsaved changes.

check it your ‘Dev Mode’ slide has been triggered- it’s a slide button at the bottom tool bar with an ‘S’ logo on it’s side. That’s what happened to me …
