Recovering files from a deleted account

Hello,

I was the owner of an account but created a new account under new one for school. I transfered ownership of Team project folder from my old account to another before I deleted the old account. However, after I deleted the old account I am no longer able to access the Team project folder even though I transferred ownership. Is it possible to recover these files to my new account? Thank you.

​@y_toku Hello, the exact same thing happened to me... I transferred ownership of a file to myself, then deleted the old account, and the file seems to have been deleted from my account as well. How is this possible? I really need to recover this file, which represents years of work. Thanks a lot.
