I moved my file to a free plan project. then I delete it! then I remembered that I moved the file there so I tried to restore the project that I deleted before. I restored it successfully but the file wasn’t there! plz, help me.
Hey @Hadi_Farajian ,
Sorry to hear this is happening! You may be able to restore your file if you have deleted the file but not permanently. (We don’t permanently delete files from Figma unless you manually click “delete forever” or if you delete the team or project that the file was in.)
You will be able to restore the file by opening your Drafts then opening the Deleted tab. Right click on the file and click Restore. The file will then be restored to the project it originally resided in.
To see all available files that can be restored, please make sure that you also set the “Created by” filter to “anyone” rather than “you.” You, and anyone else who had access to edit that file should be able to find it and restore it this way.
Here’s a guide from our Help Center with more information on this: Delete and restore files.
If you can’t still recover your file, feel free to reach out to the support team with a link of your file deleted: here. They may be able to check it in our system. I hope this helps!
I am also encountering this issue. I moved my file to a free plan project, then proceeded to delete it. However, upon realizing that I had moved the file there, I attempted to restore the project that I had previously deleted. The restoration process was successful, but unfortunately, the file I was looking for wasn’t included.
I’m seeking assistance to retrieve the missing file. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
