I’m having an issue in Figma where new shapes created within a group end up being placed outside of that group.

Hello, I am a designer and illustrator, and most of my work involves creating detailed illustrations. One of the tools I rely on heavily in Figma is “shapes.” However, this problem has become quite frustrating: when I try to create a new shape within a group (such as a circle, square, etc.), Figma places it outside of the selected group. As a result, I have to manually drag it back inside, and when I cut it to paste it into the group, it doesn’t maintain its original position. Does anyone know how to resolve this?
