Hi all, I came across the fact that I have variables in a file that cannot be found via API, plugins or standard Figma functions. The problem is of global nature, as I am not the only one who has encountered it and I often see messages in the community from colleagues.

Let’s get to the point, I created variables in another file or moved a component with them to a new file. After disabling or deleting the component with them, but they remain inside the new file, although nothing shows that they are connected or used inside the component or file. This is quite stressful and interferes with work.

Does anyone have any solutions to this problem? Because because of such “bugs” I don’t really want to use variables and even more so to pay for them, because they are very raw.
