I have a dashboard that has some overlays that appear on hover. The overlays do not inherit the color mode (light or dark) of the main page. The overlays are set to auto, so they should inherit the mode of the page/frame they are in (although as an overlay they aren’t in a frame). I tried to make them booleans that show and hide the light or dark version of the overlay depending on color mode, but that hasn’t worked either. Any ideas?
Hey @Samantha_Ingram, would you mind sharing a copy of your file with me?
That link currently only has view access - not sure that will help you, but let me know! Thank you
Hi! Did you find any way to fix this? Struggling with the same problem right now.
I did not. I also found that Devs can’t switch from light to dark mode in dev mode (or change device sizes) - so I just wound up making a second page where I convert everything to dark mode. It’s definitely a work around I’m not crazy about.
Our engineers are still actively looking into this problem and it may take some time to resolve. If you have any follow up questions or want to check on progress, please feel free to reach out!
Having the same issue and wondering if this is a global issue or a bug that can be fixed manually on our end?
Hey @Klaman ,
A fix has been deployed so you shouldn’t see the issue on your end. Our engineering team would like to investigate further. Would you mind sharing your file by filling this form: here
