I’m curious to hear people’s thoughts about this pattern relating to slot content components. The idea is to create a slot content component purely for the sake of replacing the slot placeholder and then deleting the slot content component. This would be mostly for simple content layouts.

Why? Occasionally it feels like slot content components create a lot of clutter in local files especially when you’re simply trying to populate a slot component and have no need to reuse the content again.

The original component can always be restored if you needed to change something, and even if you reset the slot and the component is lost permanently, the type of content should be easy to recreate.

Interested to hear others thoughts.
