"Open in Figma" issue

Hi @Roman_S - sorry for any trouble. First, wanted to let you know that I split your post from the original topic you commented on, since it was a much older and outdated. Additionally, that particular issue seems to be different than the one you are describing.

Regarding your specific issue: can you provide more details on what you’re experiencing seeing?

clicking on button “Open in Figma” still opens some different file, not the one intended to share.

To clarify, is the ‘share’ link you’re generating getting sent to a completely different file, or is your link going to a specific frame in the intended file that you don’t want it to go to automatically?

Can you provide a screen recording of the start to finish of when you try to share? So from opening the file > hitting the share + generating share link > visiting the link. This would be helpful to understand visually.

here I attach blurred screenshot from MS Teams.
If user clicks on the link, he gets to a prototype I wanted to share.
If user clicks on the button “Open in Figma” on the bottom of the page — webfigma opens other specific parts of Figma project, in my case it was solo selectbox that didnt even had a “Prototype badge” with play button…

I am going to make a video later this week, hopefully.
