Sorry, I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find an answer to my specific question. I want my clients to be able to collaborate on my FigJam board. I do not want them to be able to delete boards and elements which seems to be what happens when you give them edit access. I don’t want to have to send every single person an invite live during the meeting as they are unlikely to click on the link before the meeting. I want to just provide the link to the FigJam board in the meeting. The thing is that that seems to allow them to only view the board, not collaborate on it. So net-net: edit is too much, view is not enough. What nuance about permissions might I be missing?

Just to be clear I understand what are looking for. You want to invite people to FigJam files and give them the ability to edit (add and remove content from the file), but not to delete, rename or change the settings on the file?

Or if you don’t want them to add and remove content from the file, what actions/permissions do you want users to have beyond viewing?
