Hi!

Can anyone help me understand how to move all files to the drafts?
I find it quite confusing how the files management and plans work. My educational plan is about to expire and I’d like to keep important files across 3 different teams. How should I proceed to keep my files after the current plan expires?

Thank you!

Thanks for reaching out. After your Education plan expires, the teams you own will become view-only for all members because your plan will be downgraded to the Starter (free) plan. This means your files will be view-only, but they will not be deleted. If you want others to have an edit access to collaborate, you will need to upgrade to a Pro team.

To keep your current work, please move your files to your personal drafts to save them for later. Additionally, you can consider transferring ownership of your team(s). You can move files from a team to your drafts in the file browser by dragging and dropping them from the project to Drafts. You can learn more about the drafts here:

Figma Learn - Help Center

I hope this helps.

Thanks,
Toku

Thank you!

Dragging and dropping the files to the drafts folder worked.

Thanks for explaining it in details!
