When I invite someone to collaborate on a Figma project, do I have to pay the fee, if the invited person has an active Figma subscription? Was unable to find an answer in the documentation. Thx in advance for any links or clarification.

Hey @Dennis12, thanks for reaching out and sorry for the confusion!

Every member and guest will have a full seat once they make an edit to a file when shared with can edit permissions, even when collaborating with others who have their own paid plan.

There is a free collaboration window between both plans that will vary depending on when in the current billing cycle the file is shared and edit access is granted, but you can downgrade collaborators before your next billing date.
