Is there a way to have 2 frames in a parent where the parent still responsively hugs both children?

For example, I’m trying to create a button, but I want more control over the state layer separate from the label frame. But… I still want state layer’s width to change. I cannot figure out how to make the frames separate, but “equal”

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. Probably, I’m not understanding correctly so please let me confirm if my understanding is correct, would you like to achieve this type of things?

If not, could you give a bit of more details about what you’re trying to achieve?

Thanks,
Toku

Very close.

So i want to do frame1 over frame1a and frame1b where the two children fill frame1 and frame1’s width hugs its children equally.

Right now you can only hug at most 1 child.

I want to do this so I can have button arround scrim and text frame and set scrim frame opacity to a variable without affecting the text opacity.

This way I can have my state layers set variables
