The “Just mentions and replies” comments filter doesn’t work properly. It shows all comments and doesn’t filter by my name or my replies. This makes it almost impossible to work as a team in a single file when there are many comments not always directed to me.

This is a screenshot of the filter settings.

Bug?

Thanks

Hey @Migo33 ,

Thanks for reaching out to the community! You are in the ‘Comment notifications’ section which is to modify your email notification settings for a file:

  • Everything: This setting will notify you of any comments made on the file, @mentions that mention you, and replies or reacts to threads you’ve created or participated in.

  • Just mentions and replies: This setting will notify you of @mentions that mention you and replies or reacts to threads you’ve created or participated in.

  • Nothing: You will not be sent any email notifications for new comments. You will still receive an email for @mentions that mention you, even if you have this option selected.

More information in the Help Center article: here Hope this clarifies!

Thanks @Celine_Figma,

I understand how the filter works, the issue is that I see ‘Everything’ even though I selected ‘Just mentions and replies’. Hence why I posted this issue here.

Thanks.

Hi there! Sorry for the confusion. It’s not possible at the moment to filter directly your comments in the file ‘Just mentions and replies’.

The ‘Comment notifications’ section is ONLY to modify your email notification settings for a file. This doesn’t filter comments in the file directly, but you will received notification by email.

The option to filter comments in the file directly is only via this icon Screenshot 2024-04-12 at 11.36.58. Hope this clarifies!
