Hello!

I am a community advocate for FOF, Sofia for Bulgaria and we experience difficulties when we want to use Bulgarian Cyrillic in several fonts with the “Stylistic sets” feature, but Bulgarian Cyrillic just doesn’t work. When I try the same in Adobe Illustrator for example - there are no problems. The only solution we’re able to find is to change the font’s core defaults to this type of Cyrillic, otherwise, it is impossible to use the stylistic set in Figma.

Best Regards,

+1 From me. It’s about time for this feature. There is a reason our script is different, please honor it. If Adobe can, I believe you can. 🙂

3 years later, there are still issues with switching to an alternative Cyrillic style for many popular fonts like SF Pro Display 😕

@Figma Team, you can do better 🙌

+1 in need for this feature

+1 It will be great if we can finally use Bulgarian Cyrillic in Figma

I’m still waiting for this feature, and it’s really frustrating. 🤞

Stylistic sets for Bulgarian Cyrillic randomly show up on some fonts (like Source Sans 3) and not on others (like Commissioner).

Browsers also switch to the Bulgarian Cyrillic automatically if the language is set to Bulgarian & the font has it available.

Either display all the stylistic sets available for all fonts, or add a language setting, similar to how it’s done in Adobe products.

Please add this feature!

+1 from me about this feature. It will be really appreciated!
