Hi. Someone sent me a Figma file they worked on. It has imported images. I want to know how large I can export a frame containing an image, without the image losing quality. For this I need to know the pixel dimensions of the original image that was imported.
Is there some way to see the original image dimensions of an imported image?
Example:
User 1 imported a 1000x1000 pixel image into a Figma project
User 1 resized the image to 500x500 pixels and placed it in a frame named “myFrame”.
User 2 now wants to know if “myFrame” can be exported at an increased size of: x2 and x3.
User 1 would have known that x2 would work fine since the original imported image is 1000x1000, but x3 would result in pixelation since it would blow up the image to a size that is larger than the original, so new pixels will have to be added.
User 2, however, doesn’t know the original size of the image that was imported. Is there a way to find out?
