I helped out a teacher with his project but am not allowed to edit anymore. Did anything change? Is it not possible anymore to be also in an EDU Team as a professional plan subscriber?

Unfortunately, mixing paid Professional plan members and free Education plan members within the same team is not supported.
For example, if you join an Education plan team before your education status is verified, you will have a 7-day grace period to confirm your education status. After the 7-day period, you will need to confirm your education status to continue accessing files and projects within that team.
