Image not scaling

I’m moving from Adobe XD over to Figma, and I find working with images rather awkward. I’m currently trying to scale an image up. I set the image treatment to “crop”, but when I attempt to scale the control points, nothing happens. I’m wondering if this is a bug?

Any help would be much appreciated.
