Hi community,

we bought a big iconset which came with a Figma file displaying all of the available icons. I am looking for a way to make the icons downloadable for colleagues that view the prototype, but cannot find a way to do so.

Maybe this isn’t even the right approach. It would be great for the team to have one doc showing all of the icons and be able to download the one they need right away. As most of them aren’t familiar with Figma, I thought it might be smart to share a prototype containing the overview of all icons.

Anyone have an idea if/how this can be accomplished in Figma?

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. As you mentioned, prototyping could be more friendly to those who aren’t familiar with Figma. However, those who have access only to prototype cannot download, unfortunately. Have you considered inviting your teammates as a viewer to the Figma file, including the iconset? Viewers can download (we call “Export”) frames, layers, and assets in design files. Export as a viewer

It might not be the best solution, but I hope it works for you!

Thanks,

Toku
