I can't change font size in instances of component

My issue is that,

I created a variant component (Default and variant1) with text inside it
I used its instances
Then problem is that when I change the font size of variant1 and then then when I preview it wont work

same here. the only solution is to reset all but I lose the texts I’ve already set for that instance.
