Is there a way to increase the quote of local storage that a plugin can use? I found a one year old topic asking the same, but unfortunately it was unanswered and closed.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to increase the amount of localStorage capacity allocated to a plugin. The overall Figma application, including all plugins and widgets, is subject to strict limits enforced by your browser; in turn, Figma enforces a 1MB-per-plugin limit localStorage limit.
