Hovering is selcectively slow and laggy

All the sudden, certain hover flows take secs to complete while others remain quick. Anyone know why this is happening?

I checked to see if the new Figma design added a delay to hover events and theres nothing there. My interaction is set to instant.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. It looks slow! Could you try the troubleshooting below?

  • Close any Figma tabs you’re not using
  • Browser : Force-quit and open Figma in a new browser window.
  • Desktop App: Force-quit the Figma Desktop app and restart it. If the issue persists, try clearing the cache.

If this issue only occurs in the browser, could you try disabling your extensions one by one? Certain extensions might be causing the performance problem

I have done all these things. It happens in safari, chrome and Figma app.
