Fixed (stay in place) is not working

I am trying to fix a sidebar to the screen, i set it to “Fixed (stay in place)” but when I go to see the preview it is not fixed, it just goes up. I’ve tried absolute position, I’ve tried vertical overflow, horizontal, both directions, NOTHING WORKSS. I feel like I am going mad, can somebody please help this poor soul of mine?

Ps: I’m using autolayout

Even though everything appears correct in your screenshot, are you able to share a link to the file, so we here in the community can take a closer look at what might be causing the issue?
