Hi. I made some changes to the Figma desktop but some changes have not been saved. Some aspects of the changes, text, frames, and comments are showing online but images while present in the layers are not showing on the page. It’s been in this state for over an hour and I cannot shut down the app because I get a warning that the changes I have made are being saved and these changes will be lost if you shut down. I was under the impression that this could not happen as the saved desktop work would sync to the cloud. I have left comments to the client that their requests have been completed. That comment has been saved but not my changes. So, I’m stuck in limbo with the prospect of my changes being lost (4 hrs work). Any advice would be appreciated.

Figma status report shows the issue as resolved and they are monitoring. I’m not seeing the results yet. I’ll give it a couple of hours and then make the decision to lose and start again.

I’m not seeing any update to my work online and my desktop app is still telling me my work is being saved and not to shut down.
I’m up and running again though I did have to do some work on the online project to “kick it” into gear.

I have hours of work that I have to present tomorrow morning. I have finished but I am afraid I’ll lose it all.
Have you tryed to log out your account and log in again? It probably can help
I took copies of my changes on my desktop and pasted them into the online project. That kind of kicked the sync into action. Then made sure both the desktop and online were the same and shut down the desktop app with no issues.

After logging back in, I wasn’t afraid to click on “Close Window Discard Changes” since the changes seemed to have been saved.
Seems like the message is not showing up anymore.
That’s a great idea! Thanks for the advice, that sounds like the safest option. Should have done that, I’m glad though that my work seems to have been saved safely.
