The starter plan doesn’t delete your projects after 30 days.
- When you delete a file, Figma will remove the file from the project for all collaborators. Then, you will be able to access the file from your deleted files folder.
- View, restore, and permanently delete files in the Deleted tab of your Drafts. Figma stores deleted files indefinitely, until you or another collaborator deletes them forever.

Does view mean if I drop from professional to starter I will loose all version histories (so they are deleted) or can I access them again after upgrading to professional again (no matter when I do that)?

If you Upgrade to a Professional team again, you’ll be able to access all versions right back to the creation of your file, even if that’s before you upgraded.
(The 30-day version history limit applies to version you can access, and not versions we store on our system. ) Hope this helps!
Hello, I just received that my education plan will expire in 3 days. Does that mean my starter teams (free) will also be deleted?

No - your files won’t be deleted, but keep in mind that you can only have 3 collaborative files within a Starter team. You’ll want to move any additional files into your Drafts.
