I know the answer is in here somewhere but my search skills are failing me.
This is about the “disappearing image fill” issue. Everything is seemingly linked properly (library updates), the component is being used, etc… but the image fill looks blank.
I remember seeing a workaround (jumping through several hoops) in here that would fix it, but cannot find it.
Anyone?

SAME. Can’t figure it out. I tried pasting in another image, still invisible. All components with images look fine. Only the main component is not showing the original image fill.
The fill is still there in the right-hand panel, however.
Ok… in my case the images were under the artboard (frame)? Changing layer order worked to bring them back. I don’t know what caused this component to change it’s layer position in the first place, but OK. Sort of odd that everything is visible except the content of the component when that happens.
This is still happening in 2024. Super frustrating
