"Create component set" is gone now? How does one

You should be able to create a component set from two or more frames.
They just can’t be components, but regular frames instead.

Thank you! that helps. It’s unfortunate that you can’t copy and paste to add variants vs. having to create a whole new component set and remap instances.

One trick you can do is to create a new variant within the component set (or duplicate existing) → paste the new frame to it → remove everything else → ungroup the pasted frame.

If needed you can also copy the frame properties from the nested frame to the component variant before ungrouping.

This feature is seemingly removed with the big update. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

I might be misunderstanding what you’re trying to do, but you can still make component sets, for some reason they hid it inside the overflow here.

You must select all frames then choose create multible components, then you will find combine as varients button, click it to see all frames converted to varients

I have two frames selected but still I can’t find that button. Is it gone for good?

@Emos_Biseyler_Yapiyor Are you sure you selected two separate frames? Can you share full screenshot?

I accidently group the two frames together and that was why the component set option wasn’t shown. Now it’s settled 🙂
