I’ve run into cases where a colleague would click on my avatar to follow me, and then leave it on for THE WHOLE DAY. I personally have a tough time knowing someone is watching at all times.
The solution is to give users a way to unlink / stop them from following (or it should be done automatically once the viewer is idle).
