Why do vector elements increase with the size of the frame, but other elements dont?

Question

I’m using Font Awesome vectors in my design. When I increase the size of the Frame the icon’s sizes also increase. Other elements within the frame remain static.
Is there a way around this?

Cannot resize canvas Ask the community        Learn about Constraints — they are what makes elements resize differently based on the parent frame size.Hold Cmd/Ctrl while resizing — it will ignore all Constraints in the frame.
