Yes @Gleb is correct. The way it works is that you can set thumbnails to Figma Frames. So if you make a Frame in Figma (and set it to thumbnail dimensions) and copy it over to FigJam that you will get a “set as thumbnail” option when you right click on it to pull up a context menu.

This is how we made the thumbnails on all of the Template files.
