I have the same problem as this: Prototype Presentation Goes Slightly Darker
The suggestion made was about layer opacity. I don’t know where to find this!

Select the layer that has the gradient fill applied to it, and check the layer’s opacity and fill opacity in the Properties panel.
If you’ve used gradients, the opacity will always be less. The prototyping background is set to black colour by default. If you change that to white, it won’t remain dark anymore.
