When you copy an element and paste it within the same parent or use the duplicate menu function the new element has the EXACT same XY position (Paste in place) as well as the same name.
Offset:
Offsetting the new element say +5 for x and y makes it clear the object is a copy and makes it easier to select. Perhaps add a shift to the cmd+V keystroke to maintain the original paste-in-place

Most design tools amend something like “-copy” or “elementName-2” When copying many lines or groups of something it gets really annoying to have to manually rename each line
