SVG Problems

Hello.

Does anyone know what this shaded area represents?

When I export my SVG, this shaded area gets a fill (even though there is no fill in my Figma design).

I am guessing it has something to do with the fact that the line isn’t closed, but I don’t want to close the line.

I have tried Outlining the Stroke but the exported SVG lines look twice as think for some reason. This is making my head spin and been on this for hours.

Thanks for wanting to help. I actually solved the mystery. It was a fault in the Wordpress svg importer. I’m trying to work out how to delete this post now.
